B.Sc (IT for Business)
To produce professional personnel with a wide knowledge and practice in the application of Information Technology to business. The graduate will be prepared for a computing-oriented career at management level, underpinned by sound experience in the theory and application of best practice using modern technology.
National Diploma in Computing with Merit or Distinction. Allocation of places will be based on academic achievement and the relevance of courses studied. Prospective entrants are required to pass additional/bridging studies. It is likely that these will be held in early September, thus applicants must be available at this time.
One year full-time study. Also available through ACCS mode.
Application-Oriented Software Engineering, Advanced Graphics and Distributed Multimedia, Enterprise Development, Enterprise Project, Legal and Ethical Issues, I.T. Resource Management, Systems and Network Technology, Implementation and Management of Client Support, Quantitative Methods for Management, Financial Management, Advanced Databases, Elective (Business European Language or E-Commerce + Strategic Information Systems).
